Downtown Chattanooga with my Tamron 17-50mm lens

This is the result of my first session of experimenting with my new Tamron AF 17-50 mm f/2.8 lens. It seems much sharper than my Canon 17-85 mm IS standard zoom lens that I replaced. The bright 2.8 aperture produces a nice low depth of field and works well in low light situations. The 17-50 range is perfect for landscape photography.

Of course, it’s hard to put Kimi and the Chattanooga bridges in the same frame and get a bad photo.
