They developed a beautiful identity and direction for the web design and handed it off to me for the web development phase.

This project started with developing the company name, which is a play on the words “gene” and “ingenuity”. This was followed with an identity, website, video, print materials, and exhibition display graphics. It was a valuable learning experience to play a key role in the development of a new company.

The website won a 1st place award for at the 2008 DxMA Creative Communication Awards in Chicago, IL in the Interactive – Website category and the identity received a second place award.
